Won't this come across as a prank call?
The call opens with the dialeco exchange introducing itself and naming who sent the message, so nobody is caught off guard. On Classic, the message is a recording in that same voice: whoever answers listens, and can hang up whenever they like. With the Live Operator, the voice also confirms who answered, asks permission before delivering it, and offers to repeat it at the end. Before the call, the exchange also sends a text letting them know a message is coming by phone, without giving away what it says (you can turn that notice off when you book). And after paying, you can give them a heads-up from your own WhatsApp, with the message ready to go.
How do I know the call happened?
You get a confirmation email once the call goes through, with the message audio, yours to keep.
Can I choose the day and time?
Yes. You book the day and hour when you write the message (calls happen between 8am and 6pm, Brasília time), or you ask for a Rush delivery.
Is the call recorded?
On Classic there is no recording of the call: what we keep is the message audio itself, the same one that played on the phone, and it goes to you by email. With the Live Operator the conversation is recorded, and the exchange says so at the start. Either way the file is deleted afterwards, per our privacy policy.
What if nobody answers?
The exchange tries up to 3 times, half an hour apart. On the first two, if it goes to voicemail we hang up without leaving anything and try again later. Only on the last attempt do we leave the recorded message there, and that counts as delivered. If nobody answers across all 3 attempts, you choose: reschedule at no cost, or a full refund.
